Coating process has many principles of application and its selection depends on the type of coating required. In solution-based coating the coating material is applied on the fabric and dried. In case of hot melt coating, the coating material is applied in molten condition and then cooled.
The lamination is the process of joining two materials, fabric and film, fabric to fabric, fabric to paper, etc. The joining process may be by heat or by adhesive application.
