Slipper is used for protection, support, comfort or care of foot. The durable slippers are very common and used by all. However, there are certain areas where disposable is more convenient, such as hospitals, hotels, spa, massage parlour, hygienically protected areas, and many more.
At present spun bond PP nonwoven fabric disposable slippers are very popular. Knitted fur cloth slippers are also used. All these slippers are imported from China and Taiwan, no one manufactures in India.
These slippers are nonbiodegradable and promotion of their use will lead to harmful effect to environment.
Our Product:
We have developed biodegradable slipper and suitable for wide range of applications. The sole, upper and lower covers, top flaps, all can be biodegradable and at the same time it fulfils all functional requirements. The beauty of the product is; it is light in weight, quite flexible, comfort to wear, easy to dispose, low water absorbency, easy to dry (if required – while using for a longer duration) and low cost.
We have also identified an application untapped so far and has excellent potential to market in India.
Since the product is quite unique, it can be a Patented product.Prototype product is ready for commercial launch.
